Program title :"DOT2DOT: Music Edition"
Great fun program for all of those out there interested in teaching kids about music. Like Dot2Dot, you connect the dots and expose the musical instrument, composer or choral group. Designed for children 4 to 10 years of age although it is fun for the entire family. Both my 7 and 9 year old enjoy playing it very much. This is a stand alone program for the Mac and was written using Supercard. It should work on any color Mac (FAT) and requires 6 meg ram and approx. 15 meg. hard drive space. It is a self extracting file for easy instruction.
Program title :"Bring Music To Your Ears"
This program was created using World Builder. "Bring Music To Your Ears" is freeware and was created in September 1996 as is my first attempt at creating a music education stand alone program. The program is suitable for all ages specifically targeting ages 8 years and up. My goal is that you have fun exploring different aspects of music theory and who knows...maybe even learn a thing or two along the way.
One of the first things you will notice is that "Bring Music To Your Ears" is in black and white. Sorry about this, as I become better at creating these types of programs I will attempt to program in color. "Bring Music To Your Ears" will run on any Mac, and so will the games you create with it. However, due to changes in the sound handling hardware, the sounds do not work on AV Macs or PowerMacs. Author: Doug Boughter email: doug@in-flight.com
Have fun with "Bring Music To Your Ears".
